Back-end web development
I have established numerous back-end systems and distributed computing architectures for a variety of clients, using Node.JS, Python, RabbitMQ and Kafka. Leveraged cloud services such as Azure and AWS to deploy and maintain these systems.
Database development
I have experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and Google Firestore. Optimizing stored procedures and queries is a favorite pastime of mine.
AI integrations
Keeping up with the latest in AI and machine learning is a passion of mine. My tools have helped internal teams make better decisions faster, and improved customer experience. Tools I have used include PyTorch, AWS Sagemaker, Bedrock, Langchain, and Milvus. I have a knack for optimizing RAG processes.
Third-party API integrations
I have integrated a variety of third-party API's, including transactional marketing through Mailchimp, core financial data such as stocks and realtime quotes, and internal business data through Microsoft Graph. I posess technical knowledge of RESTful principles and networking protocols.

- Achieved full automation of several tasks through the web portal, in a high user base growth scenario and under significant time constraints: foreign exchange, security (stock, bonds) transfers, increasing the revenue by 35% and time management by 50%. Used NodeJS, SQL, Python and Azure
- Proposed and implemented a better way to consume and distribute stock quotes by replacing older mechanisms with Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ, resulting in improved performance and a simpler architecture
- Built extensive REST API’s with NodeJS and Azure, and a large number of third party integrations using Microsoft Graph, Mailchimp API, and Firebase API for mobile events such as push notifications and logging
- Reduced helpdesk workload by more than 80% by implementing an AI support chatbot using RAG with Python, Langchain, NLP and OpenAI, while also configuring and maintaining cloud deployments using Linux with Docker

- Automated the processing of real-time business data (revenues and KPI’s) using SQL and Python, replacing Excel workflows with API calls, improving time management by more than 80%, in a high business growth setting
- Created interactive data visualizations using Plotly, along with a Flask backend
- My high quality analysis, data solutions, and the adherence to timeline and budget constraints, were utilized to grow brands such as Visiocrest and Roxy Epoxy initiatives, which were a huge success in the global market

- You can ask questions about the inner workings of a business, and get answers in real time. Example: how many years of free cashflow are needed to pay off the debt?
- Using AI, the virtual CEO can answer questions about the company's financials, business model, and future plans. This is achieved by a custom AI model and RAG architecture, using 10-K filings and earnings calls
- This is a great tool for large and small investors, journalists, and business students
Yesilcam
Yesilcam is a niche networking app for the film industry.
- Yesilcam is an upcoming nonprofit organization that seeks to connect people from around the world who work, or aspire to work, in the film industry.
- The project is a social media networking mobile app. It is currently in a prototype stage, awaiting the finalization of the nonprofit's legal framework.
- Built with React Native and Google Firebase. Firebase (as Backend-as-a-Service) was used for authentication and database
- Databases: Document store for messaging (Firestore), Realtime database for messaging, Blob storage for images (profile pictures)
